The drama began on Tuesday night when a young lady, Lady Zainab Abdulmalik, was heard on the popular Hausa program on a local station ‘Freedom Radio’ offering to give a 2013 model of Anaconda car and a house to any man who will volunteer to marry her.

It was gathered that with such offer by Zainab, youths in their hundreds trooped to Freedom Radio, asking of her and offering themselves for marriage in order to receive the offer by the next morning.
Zainab Abdulmalik is said to have a business capital of over N10million.
One of the security personnel of the Radio Station who spoke to reporters confirmed that the large number of youths
that besieged the station almost overwhelmed them so much that they had to request for police intervention.
Also, the news editor of the Radio Station, Abdullateef Abubakar Jos, said the lady later arrived at the station at about 1pm when the hundreds of youths were waiting for her.
He added that she came face to face with hundreds of youths who claimed to love her, and picked one of them, after which she was provided with police escort to get her out of the place safely.
Our reporter spoke with a young boy, Musbahu DanBaba, who said he would love to take her as his wife no matter
her facial looks as long as she would provide him with the car and house as she pledged.
“I believe in Allah and all praises be to Him, that it is not a sinful act for a man to marry a woman because of her wealth. Therefore, marrying her is not going to generate any problem”, he stated.
We were told that the management of the Radio Station was happy as their station attracted greater attention and business.
