This is a horror story about a first date that is of the highest caliber. It is natural for a man to experience anxiety in the lead up to a date with a woman. This leads to him being overly confident even when he is in a potentially dangerous situation, even though he has no reason to be.
Although he is demonstrating what it means to be courageous, he is not facing off against a large army. He is completely out of his mind at this point. A word of advice: if you have to cough and your mouth tastes unpleasant, don’t put your mouth on someone else’s when you do it.
