You can get too sensitive in the United States if you drink too much. Hillary and Emma were both too drunk to do anything stupid that would have flipped their lives upside down, despite the fact that alcohol was pouring through their veins.
Alcohol, on the other hand, can explain this. Everyone loses their senses when alcohol takes over, and these women were no exception. When people are drunk, no one is around to document their stupidity, so they become arrogant and start making snap judgments about the behaviour of others. But, can you say you’re not foolish while you’re drunk?
