Zambia has been chosen to host a meeting of 10 African leaders that will discuss reforms of the UN Security Council, official report said on Monday.
The 10 African leaders have been chosen to spearhead reforms of the UN Security by the African Union (AU), Foreign Affairs Minister Harry Kalaba told the newsmen in Lusaka.
According to him, the reforms are expected to culminate in a permanent seat for Africa in the UN Security Council which has powers to veto decisions passed by the UN Assembly.
Meanwhile, the Zambian minister is praying that the postponement of elections in Nigeria would result in that country holding peaceful polls.
