Two persons has been charged with the murder of a German Julius Berger worker.
A Magistrate’s Court in Abeokuta, Ogun state Nigeria, on Wednesday remanded two persons in prison over the alleged murder of a German expatriate and kidnap of another German.
The two, Ibrahim, 33, and Saidu Muhammed, 30, were accused of conspiring and causing the death of Frank Sieberg in attempt to kidnap him and another victim, Walter Limbacher.
Mrs Gloria Nyang, the Prosecuting Counsel, said that the offenses contravened sections 516, 364 (2) and 316 (3) of the Criminal Laws of Ogun, 2006.
The accused persons had no fixed address, occupation.
Their pleas were not taken by the court as they were not represented by any counsel.
Chief Magistrate Anthony Araba remanded the accused in Oba prison while awaiting legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecution in the state.
He adjourned the case till Feb. 27, 2015 for further hearing
