Even though they lived only a short time ago, imagining how various United States presidents spent their days in the past may be challenging. The president now resides in the magnificent, white presidential mansion, but every leader lived a more modest existence back then.
This house was considered a lovely and costly mansion when it was constructed in 1839. However, compared to today’s presidents’ lifestyles, this dwelling appears relatively modest and quirky. The Lincoln Home National Historic Site now protects this magnificent home.
