Lincoln Memorial – 1917 vs. 2016
It is no secret that Abraham Lincoln had a significant influence on how the United States works today. Even though he was murdered 65 years ago, his memory shines brightly in the hearts and minds of Americans and the real-world locations of America.
It’s crazy to see how a place that has been around for nearly 100 years may change. The Lincoln Memorial is now a highly respected and prestigious monument, but it didn’t look like much was going on in the area in 1917.
