Some landmarks are so well-known that even if you’re standing in a crowd, you should be able to recognize them. Some of these monuments had become so famous that it’s difficult to conceive of a time when they didn’t exist…
It’s odd to see photos of the Manhattan Bridge while it was being built and now because New York City doesn’t look nearly as developed today. It’s interesting to note how far we’ve come in the last one hundred and something years, not only because of how much less constructed New York City looks but also because it demonstrates how far we’ve progressed.
