At a real cafe, Van Gogh’s 1888 “Cafe Terrace at Night” is set in Arles, France. It’s incredible how the colors have stayed the same over time and how they compare to his original work. Can you imagine just sitting there in 1888, sipping an espresso, while Vincent Van Gogh paints a masterpiece that will soon be renowned?
