It’s not unusual for employees to be replaced when they leave a job. However, most people who are let go aren’t required to do so. The worst aspect of this scenario isn’t that they’re being forced to retire at 25 years old. It’s the two-year period that gets me going there. They dared to contact this individual after two years had passed! What kind of nerve does it take?
