There are a lot of ideas that perplex, seduce, and even amuse people. But, just as it is wrong to jeer at someone for their religion, it is also unjust to ridicule or make fun of someone for their principles, especially when they are genuinely beneficial.
It’s also rather ill-advised to have your boss derail an entire meeting in front of every one simply because you mentioned you had specific ideas. Your employer should never discuss your religion or beliefs, and having to defend yourself in a business meeting, as a result, is highly inappropriate.
