The animal activist
Anyone who is even moderately familiar with Carrie Underwood knows she has a passion for animals. She’s previously donated vast sums of money to the Humane Society of the United States and PETA. Much of what she does on social media and in real life is devoted to raising public awareness of animal mistreatment.
The majority of her fans are from the south and adore country music, but many do not care about animals. Her efforts to rescue animals have irritated some fans. However, her involvement in specific animal welfare organizations has made her a target.
