Trying her hand at acting
Carrie isn’t a one-trick pony, and she can amaze audiences with her fantastic voice. She tried her hand at acting and had a moderate career. Her first performance was on CBS’ How I Met Your Mother, where she played Tiffany, a medical sales rep who kept Ted addicted in case he ever needed it.
Despite being the second-highest rated episode of the show’s fifth season, it received average ratings. However, critics were unimpressed with Carrie’s acting abilities, but they also criticized the episode’s writers for coming up with less-than-funny material. This didn’t deter country singer-turned-actress Carrie, from trying her hand at filmmaking a year later.
