Overlooking a golf course
As a result of their proximity to a golf course, Carrie’s former Brentwood home was built on adjacent land. It made a perfect setting for her old house, along with the rolling Tennessee hills and city skyline in the distance. Her estate’s openness provided some privacy that she ultimately couldn’t keep up.
Sheryl Crow has said that she values her privacy and time with family more than anything else. She revealed in interviews that she is pretty private, which is surprising, considering how at ease she appears on stage. Nonetheless, she preferred the quiet life away from the bustle of Hollywood.
