Everything was going smoothly, and it was a lot sooner than she expected that Jessica got pregnant. Fertility treatments are never a sure success; this field is rather new in the medical world, and so, sadly, success rates aren’t too high. Thus, when these treatments work on the first try, it’s considered a proper miracle. In April 2016 she was pregnant with the Lius’ baby.

IVF is a medical process that allows combining the mother’s egg with the father’s sperm outside the body, in a supervised environment, and then placing the embryo in a surrogate body. With the years, the process is increasing in popularity and constitutes one of the best options for couples unable to have a baby on their own.
