Postponement of the 2015 general elections will improve participation in polls

A group known as Goodluck-Sambo vision for persons with unique abilities, says the postponement of the general election will enable all its members to collect their PVCs and participate actively during the polls.

At a news briefing in Abuja, the spokesman and Head of Media for the group, Dr Chike Okogwu, said out of the twenty-two million persons with disabilities across the country, only a few has received their PVCs.

A Board Member of the Group, Mr. Paul Ihekwoaba, said the group would mobilize its members to vote massively for President Jonathan because of his numerous contributions to their well-being.

The National Co-ordinator of the Group, Timiepiri Ziriki, said President Jonathan's signing of the National Disability Bill was a clear indication that he had the interest of persons with disabilities at heart.
