The Lagos State Police Command on Sunday, denied releasing a list of black spots in Lagos. The alleged list has been published containing many parts of Lagos State as danger zones as the Yuletide period draws near.
Speaking on the matter on Sunday, the police public relation officer, DSP Kenneth Nwosu discredited such reports and urged Lagosians to go about their normal businesses without fear.
He said: “There are some false information making rounds on social media, claiming that the has blacklisted places such as,Agidingbi, Alapere, Berger bus stop, Ketu, Estate bus stop and Boundary bus stop in Ajegunle.
The command wishes to urge everyone to disregard the news as it is only imagination promoted by the Author.”
Other places such Mile 2 bridge, Ijora bus stop, Agboju etc, were also labeled black. It is believed that the assumption was made based on incessant hoodlums activities on those places.
