Minister of Power Commission 20 Kilowatts Solar-based Station In Wuse

The Minister of Power, Professor Chinedu Nebo has commissioned a twenty kilowatts Solar-based station to provide electricity for a section of the Wuse Market, Abuja.
The primary purpose of the project is to discourage the use of petrol and diesel powered generators that could infuse poisonous gasses when attending to customers, adding that the project will be replicated in other markets across the country.

The Minister of State Power Mohammed Wakil, Minister of Women Affairs Zainab Maina, the Senate Committee Chairman on Power Philips Aduda and the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Power, Godknows Igali called on the beneficiaries to protect the facilities from vandals and maintain them properly
