Former Minister of Information, Mr Labaran maku, on Thursday said that his ambition of being the Governor of Nasarawa State is still intact.
Maku, who lost the peoples democratic party PDP primaries in state said nothing is stopping him from contesting in 2015 governorship election in the state.
The former Minister was speaking at St Williams Cathedral, Lafia were he disclosed that appeal panel of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP is yet to respond to petition he submitted concerning the primaries conducted in the state.
“I want to assure my supporters that no amount of conspiracy by a few people will stop me from contesting the 2015 general elections” he said.
Maku, also advised the people not to vote candidates based on their religion or ethnic belief but should vote based on technical abilities of the person to move the country forward.
He urged his supporters to re-elect president Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 stating that the president deserved to be re-elected based on his transformation in all sector in the nations economy.
Maku said “Jonathan is the best President this country has ever produced.”
