The EFCC and National Lottery Regulatory Commission have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen the fight against illegal lottery operators in the country.
At the event in Abuja, the Chairman of the EFCC, Mr. Ibrahim Larmode, said with the agreement, the days of illegal lottery operations were numbered.
The EFCC Chairman also called on other government agencies to key into such collaboration in the interest of national development.
Earlier, the Director General of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission, Mr. Adolphus Ekpe, said the collaboration with EFCC would ensure proper repositioning of the regulatory agency.
Mr. Ekpe gave an assurance that the Commission would not relent in its effort towards generating funds for national development.
