Indian man arrested in fake kidnap case

An Indian man has been arrested by Police Anti-Kidnap Squad in Enugu for being the mastermind of his own kidnap.

According to police report, Mr Mishall left his residence in Abuja and traveled to Enugu state where he got someone to call his employer, saying he’d been kidnapped and will only be released if a ransom of N10 million was paid.

His employer eventually agreed to N7million for his release and the money was paid into an account provided by Mr Mishal and his accomplice. When Mishal went to the bank on Thursday Feb. 12th to cash the money, he was immediately arrested by men of the Enugu state Police command.

Day  after the report of alleged kidnap of Mishall Vishwaniph ‘m’ 46yr old Indian national in ‪‎Abuja‬, Police Anti-Kidnap Squad tracked and intercepted the said man as he pick up the ransom in ‪#‎Enugu‬ State at about 08:00AM of 12.02.2015. The said Mishall was immediately arrested, he stated that he fake his kidnap as a ploy to get money off his Boss.
