Bloodshed in Sanga local government in Kaduna state, as 15 people were reportedly killed in an attack suspected to be from the Fulani herdsmen.
The incident was said to have happened in the early hours on Friday barley one week after a similar attack that killed 10 people in Tattauara village,
According to an Eyewitness that spoke to Thisday correspondent, the Fulani invaders who were armed with sophisticated guns arrived the village at about 4:00am on Friday and started shooting sporadically and setting houses ablaze.
Adamu said several other people sustained injuries from gun shots while over 20 houses were set ablaze.
He said the incident sparked off mass protest by various communities in the area who marched to Gwantu, the headquarters of Sanga local government area, to register their displeasure over the attacks in spite of the peace agreement signed with the Fulanis never to attack anyone.
According to him, the protest almost turned into a religious clash, adding that the prompt intervention of the special military task force on security averted it.
