Confused
When Samuel returned by himself, Lisa became concerned for her elder son. Doing the only thing she could think of, she informed the Orlando court services that her son was missing.
However, since Lisa was an immigrant, she wasn’t fully familiar with the law system, and so she wasn’t aware of her rights nor that she was obliged to notify the police of the situation. Had she known that and contacted the police earlier, this whole ordeal might have been avoided.
