Far from how it used to be! Baba usually go out and probably spend some days with some relatives and come back home. But for the past three weeks, the 78 year old Chief Gbadamosi Fakoya has gone out without traces so far.
The chief left his residence in Soyindo area of Sagamu, Ogun state and since then, his where about has remained a mystery.
The septuagenarian was said to have left home for an undisclosed location at about 4pm three Thursdays ago but has not returned home.
Chief Fakoya was said to have dressed up on the fateful day and left for an unknown destination. Those who saw him while leaving his compound thought he wanted to take a stroll not knowing he may not return home.
Family sources said the missing septuagenarian is a traditionalist and a devotee of the Agemo deity.
"Baba (Fakoya) does not leave home anyhow. He only goes to his farm in Iperu and doesn't like attending parties or social gathering at all. We have launched a search party for him but our effort has not yielded any fruit. We have also taken his photograph to some police stations in Sagamu Local Government, all to no avail, said a source. It was gathered that the family had also sought the help of men of local vigilance group in Sagamu, in their quest to find their missing patriarch.
