March 18, 2015 by Kelly Davies Leave a Comment

Barely three days after last weekend’s auto crash that claimed seven lives and injured 20 at Upper Iweka in Onitsha, six persons were, yesterday, feared dead in fresh accident involving a petrol tanker and commercial buses on the Enugu/Onitsha expressway.

The exact spot of the crash was the Building Materials International Market, Ogidi in Idemili North LGA of Anambra State. The accident, according to a source, occurred when the propeller of a petrol tanker laden with petroleum products pulled off, making the tanker to ram into some commercial buses waiting for passengers on Onitsha/Enugu expressway and consequently crushed some vehicles and hawkers.
