This quote might embody everything that is wrong in our generation (as our parents like to say), but you have to admit, it’s pretty clever. For all you know, she might just be mocking the Y generation.
The inspirational one
“Put something inspirational.” – Good job. I imagine this didn’t go as well as his mother had hoped. This guy can learn something about inspiration from some other quotes on the list. This seems like a good joke now, but in a few years looking back at this quote, he won’t be the one laughing.
But at least he got something funny out of it, though not too original. Many people adopted this theme of writing what their parents wanted them to put as a quote, and how they disappointed them.
