Yearbook Quotes People Are Going to Regret Twenty Years from Now

October 3, 2005 by Sophie Lustig

How perceptive

“Roses are red, violets are blue, I’m black.” – If you don’t have anything clever to say on your yearbook quote, you could always write a short poem. It seems like this is what he was going for, only, it’s not really a poem, since it’s only one line, and it doesn’t rhyme. They say that if you don’t have anything clever to say, sometimes it’s better not to say anything, and we feel like this guy should have probably adopted this saying.

We always thought that those yearbook quotes were meant to capture the essence of high school, the best and worst moments of those years, and perhaps an important lesson that you’ve learned and you will carry with you for the rest of your life. Judging by this list of quotes, they are meant to make people laugh, and most of the time they just seem completely random.
