The Discontinued McNurnburger in Germany
What could be more German than a roll stuffed with multiple bratwursts or sausages? German McDonald’s used to sell the McNumberger, which had three sausages packed between two halves of a roll and drenched in mustard and with a generous portion of caramelized onions on top. Sounds pretty good, but sadly, the Germans don’t like any form of enjoyment.

That’s probably why they did away with the McNurnburger. In fact, the McNurnburger was available for only three months. Apparently, former national footballer, Uli Haenel, helped bring the concept of the McNurnburger to life, but he couldn’t do anything to keep it on the menu.
