The Mashed Potato Burger in China
Yeah, you read that correctly. In China, you can get a burger with two patties, several bacon slices, the green fixings, and a healthy dollop of mashed potatoes on top. We never thought that mashed potatoes would be such a popular food item in China, but what do we know?
This burger was introduced to the orient in 2012 as a part of an exclusive campaign. Since then, it’s remained a top-selling item on McDonald’s menus across the country. We’re surprised that they didn’t let us Americans stuff our gullets with this mash and double-cheeseburger first. If it tastes as good as it looks, we’d seriously consider choosing this over Big Macs.
