Wild Backstage Demands of 70s Rock Legends

Keith Moon was The Who’s drummer, and his tour demands remind us of Dennis the Menace. He required promoters to supply him with commercial-grade cherry bombs and pyrotechnic fuses, delivered right to his hotel room. He used these explosives to blow up toilets, blast through locked doors, and generally cause mayhem. Promoters learned to budget for the inevitable thousands of dollars in property damage that followed Moon from one city to the next until his death in 1978.
