Before Die Hard, most heroes were untouchable. Bruce Willis changed that with a bloody undershirt and a smirk. His John McClane wasn’t superhuman; just stubborn, funny, and terribly human. Every stumble, every curse made him easier to root for. The skyscraper setting turned into a pressure cooker, and Willis made sweat part of the costume. Then came Pulp Fiction, Armageddon, and the Unbreakable saga, continuing to conquer Hollywood.
