#24: Pierce Brosnan – Bond’s 90s revival
When Brosnan first straightened his tie as 007, the franchise found its pulse again. His version of Bond blended suaveness with sensitivity. He was less predatory, more professional (and charming as no one). Films like Golden Eye and Tomorrow Never Dies carried the series into a sleeker, tech-heavy world. He wasn’t reinventing Bond so much as updating him. He created a new action hero from scratch. One who looked like he read poetry between explosions.
