#15: Ezra
The name Ezra has had somewhat of a bad reputation in recent years due to Ezra Miller (pictured below), an actor who has gotten himself into many controversies. But it’s a name with a rich history. In Hebrew, it translates to “helper.” One historical figure named Ezra was Ezra the Scribe, who helped create the Torah’s foundation.

It also has a nice, dignified ring to it, yet it doesn’t sound as old and archaic as some of the other names on the list. So, as a name, it’s a good one. Your kid may grow up to be a helper when the world needs him the most.
