#11: Winston
Winston is an old English name that translates to “joyful stone” or “friend stone.” It can also mean “wine settlement.” We all know Winston Churchhill, the prime minister who served in World War II. Churchill was a prime minister whose politics centered around friendship, so it all makes sense.

I do think more kids should be named Winston. We all need friends, or at least good winemakers. These two things are not mutually exclusive. Let’s hope the next kid named Winston isn’t a leader in the next world war, though.
