Buchenwald concentration camp
When the 6th armored division of the United States Army liberated the horrific death camp, which was responsible for the killings of over 56,000 people, they were horrified by the actions of the Nazis. After a short while, they gathered the German civilians who lived near the death camp and forced them to bear witness to the Nazi atrocities that took place mere miles from their own homes, from 1937 to 1945.
Words cannot describe the horrific actions that took place on that cursed ground. The civilians were perfectly happy living next to this hell on earth without saying a word. Now, they were forced to see the result of their actions. The bodies, the ashes, and the despair.
