This guy was fortunate enough to find two huge cast-iron panels that looked to be at least a thousand years old. If we know anything about old things, this might’ve been worth something if the OP found the right buyer. But first, he had to find out what it was.
According to a commenter, these panels are indeed old, and they’re also collectible. You can find several cast-iron panels at the Mercer Museum (you can Google it). All the OP has to do is get in contact with the museum’s curator to see if they’ll take it off his hands.
