The cracker that doesn’t crack
If you weren’t raised on prawn crackers, then you probably have no idea what’s going on. It’s pretty clear that this is a prawn cracker, but what’s up with the shiny surface at the center? Is this safe to eat? And why would you willingly put it in your mouth if it looks bruised?
To answer the questions we asked ourselves, something went wrong in the manufacturing process. The prawn cracker didn’t expand all the way after frying, so it has a hard center that’s unpalatable but still edible. We’d suggest throwing this cracker away and fishing in the bag for a new one.
