Not for pastas
Most people wouldn’t question whether a weird and mysterious object is safe enough to use as an eating utensil, but the OP is a special kind of person. Of course, they were just kidding, but this unidentifiable metal piece does look a lot like a fork. So, the million-dollar question: is it safe for pastas?
The answer is yes, it is, but that’s not what it’s used for. This “fork” is what’s known as a rope wrench. It helps users control how much tension there is in a line of rope or wires. However, you can give it a good wash and scrub and use it to dig into a plate of spaghetti if you want.
