Here’s another product that promised a workout for nothing. Its jingle said, “If you can sit, you can get fit.” The product was a chair that swiveled in a hula motion, hence the name. The idea was that it would give you a core workout while you were in the office.

Because yes, my boss would be okay with me bringing a swiveling chair to my cubicle, and I’m sure that wouldn’t be distracting after a while. The commercial tried to make it look easy to use the chair while typing on the computer, and even infomercial magic had a hard time making that look like it’s true!
