#6: Do You Accept Checks?
These days, I’m pretty sure the only reason that I own a checkbook is in order to pay my landlord (something that Boomers don’t know about), but I know that for your average Boomer, a checkbook is so much more – a symbol of wealth, of power, of forging your own path in the world.

For Gen Xers and Millenials, checkbooks are mainly a symbol of financial struggles and anxiety. Yet, if checkbooks do disappear, I’m not sure I would put it down to the end of the Baby Boomer era, but maybe more with the fact that pretty soon, money won’t exist in any form other than credit and bitcoin.
