This one’s basically died off already, long before the Boomers will. In fact, the only chance it has of staying on its final feet is the generational wealth that some Boomers are still likely to leave after them. Otherwise, yes, buying and paying off a home is finally doomed for good.

It’s just a sad, sad world where the work of previous generations has resulted in so much wealth and prosperity, but the younger generations can’t properly take advantage of it. We’ll just have to enjoy our consolation prize of rising temperatures, natural disasters, and the onset of nuclear winter.
