Bjorn Ulvaeus and Agnetha Faltskog, 1971
We’re all familiar with the iconic pop band ABBA, but do you know where that name came from? It was the first letter in the name of the four band members. Bjorn Ulvaeus and Agnetha Faltskog were two of the Swedish stars behind the group responsible for hits like “Dancing Queen” and “Take a Chance on Me.” The bandmates tied the knot in 1971.
The band ABBA was composed of two different couples, Ulvaeus and Faltskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Benny Andersson. When both couples filed for divorce, the legendary band came to an end. Though neither relationship lasted, the songs created between these two love stories will live forever in our hearts.
