Olivia Newton-John and Matt Lattanzi, 1984
Australian actress Olivia Newton-John, who rose to fame as Sandy in the hit 1978 movie Grease, first met actor and dancer Matt Lattanzi on the set of the movie Xanadu. While the movie was not a critical or commercial success, it did jump-start a steamy real-life romance between her and Lattanzi – so at least one good thing came out of it.
The pair tied the knot in 1984, in her California home surrounded by family and (famous) friends. Olivia was 36 at the time, and Matt was only 25. However, like many celebrity marriages, their union didn’t stand the test of time, and the couple got divorced in 1995. They share a daughter, Chloe Rose.
