Samuel L. Jackson and LaTanya Richardson, 1980

There is not a human on earth who isn’t familiar with the iconic actor Samuel L. Jackson. Sam Jackson is prominently known for his many amazing voiceovers and memorable film roles in the final decades of the 20th century. What you might not know is he met his long-time wife, To Kill a Mockingbird actress LaTanya Richardson back in college.

The college sweethearts shared a whirlwind romance leading up to their wedding in 1980. While they both soared in their respective acting careers they also raised a daughter throughout those busy years, and are now joyously enjoying their golden years together, coming into their fifth decade as a married couple.
