Norman Bridwell was a true master of his craft. With over 126 million copies sold worldwide, Clifford has become a household name for generations of kids. Can you imagine how many kids he convinced to eat their vegetables by promising to read them a Clifford book if they did? What a great guy!
And let’s not forget about all the big red dog costumes that were sold because of him. But as time passed, Bridwell passed away in 2014. However, his legacy lives on through the beloved character he created. Clifford will never go out of style, and we’ll always remember this huge dog’s adventures.
