Mysterious Mixture
Although people talk fondly of the old days, there are certainly some things we definitely would not enjoy from the past. One of these things is old-fashioned medicine. Imagine trying to cure a headache with leeches or a broken bone with a potion made of bat wings and newt eyes. Yikes!
Back in the day, doctors relied on their trusty stethoscope and their own intuition to make a diagnosis. Talk about a rough time to be sick! But hey, at least they didn’t have to deal with copays and insurance forms. Perhaps there were some positive things about living in the past!
