We all know how expensive Pokemon cards can be, but let’s not forget the OG expensive cards – baseball cards. The most expensive baseball card ever sold was a 1909-1911 T206 Honus Wagner card, which sold for $3.12 million in 2016. Who knew that a tiny piece of cardboard could be worth so much?
That’s more than enough money to buy a private island and a team of baseball players to play on it! However, most of us will never come across a Honus Wagner card in our lifetime. Instead, baseball card collecting is just a fun hobby, not a retirement plan. But you might just get lucky and find a hidden gem!
