Odd Olympics
It was the 1988 Summer Olympics in which Canadian sprinter Ben Johnson set the world record in the 100-meter dash but later got stripped of his gold medal for doping. The games were held in Seoul, South Korea, and featured a record number of participating countries; 159, to be exact.

It was also the first time that professionals were allowed to compete in the Olympics, which led to the “Dream Team” of the US men’s basketball team, featuring Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, and other basketball legends. It was a great time for the Olympics and a reminder that cheaters never win and winners never cheat.
