Amazing Amazon
You know Amazon, that website where you can buy everything from toilet paper to a live alligator (yes, seriously). But did you know that back in the day, Amazon was just a humble little online bookstore? In its early days, Amazon was stocked with only a fraction of the products it has today.
A measly 1 million books, to be exact! Can you imagine? But, despite its limited selection, people still flocked to the site. Eventually grew to become the behemoth of e-commerce we know and love (or love to hate) today. There are still examples of its early history as a bookstore, like this one!
