Most people think grinders are used to crush tobacco or the devil’s salad to make it easier to roll into paper. However, TikTok user @onogrindz reveals to us the real reason why grinders exist. Apparently, grinders were made to crush the bacon into tiny pieces to sprinkle over meals like salad or mac and cheese.

Are you shocked to find out that for years – maybe even decades – you’ve been using grinders for an extremely different purpose… even if one of those purposes led you to eat tons of bacon?
